Interesting article at ESPN.com concerning several Detriot Red Wings moving to play with the UHL's Motor City Mechanics.
Detroit defensemen Chris Chelios and Derian Hatcher will sign with the UHL's Motor City Mechanics. An official announcement is expected Tuesday.So the NHLPA won't accept a slary cap, but players are moving to the UHL which reportedly has a $260,000 cap? Certianly sucks for the UHL level players on the Mechanics who will now be out of work.Chelios slums it..
