Nobody cares
The players on the Eagles offense resembled the lineup in a preseason game, the import of the game resembled a preseason game, the defenses effort resembled less than that of a preseason game, and the fans level of interest was also less than that of a preseason game. But it was a real game, and this laughable and pathetic 30-22 loss to Carolina counts toward Reid's ignominious total and will further tug on the single horse hair holding the <cliche>sword of Damocles</cliche> over his head.
Other notes:
- Eagles terrible in the redzone as usual.
- Eagles terrible on turnovers as usual. Over the last 2 seasons, the Eagles rank last in the NFL in turnover margin at -31.
- Bryce Brown was down though - knee and forearm - on his first fumble. Great job NFL auto replay. Great job ESPN.
- Eagles secondary execrable as usual. Cut them all.
- Cam Newton is so overrated. He's as erratic as Vick and I love how goes down so easy. He's the anti-Roethlisberger.
- Eagles fans in the stadium did us proud, especially mocking the defense's first stop of the game with the mock wild cheering.
- Bryce Brown was good in preseason so it is apt he was good in this game.
- Nick Foles was barely mediocre and very lucky he didn't get pick sixed several times. He made bad decisions and was late on a ton of throws. No future.
- I enjoyed the Panthers attributing their finally pulling out a game late instead of blowing it to their effort and pulling together. HAHAHA. You were playing the Eagles, fools.
- Fire Andy.
